The history of human civilization can give evidence for the creationist model and the young earth. While evolutionists believe that human brains evolved from simpler to more complex, creationists believe that human brains were created as is fully formed according to the Genesis account. Certainly humans can learn new skills and new technologies that can change the way of life. However, creationists believe that ancient humans had the same brains that were equally developed as today. The only difference is that ancient cultures did not have modern technology, but they had their own technologies. It has been shown that ancient cultures were strong in astronomy and architecture, as the pyramids of Egypt were built several thousand years ago to align with the stars and heavens. The pyramids were built with trial and error after the Flood of the Book of Genesis. Simpler pyramids in Egypt are found that are older than the Great Pyramids as the Egyptians eventually learned to build more complex pyramids. The pyramids in Mexico also show a similar cycle. Mainstream science describes ancient cultures as primitive hunter-gatherer societies who migrated regularly and eventually learned the concepts of agriculture and therefore the foundations of permanent civilizations were established. However, creationists believe that ancient cultures built advanced civilizations much sooner than evolutionists believe.
Short Agricultural History
Agriculture has been developed within the last 6,000 years while humans have been around for 200,000 years, according to mainstream science the Darwinist evolution model. If humans had been around for 200,000 years, surely agriculture would have developed much earlier. Learning that seeds can produce crops should not take very long and therefore agriculture should have developed much earlier in human history. Apparently, evolutionists believe that humans were primitive hunters and gatherers for most of their "200,000-year" existence and only suddenly discovered agriculture within the last 10,000 years. The creationist answer is that humans have been on earth less than 10,000 years and developed agriculture relatively quickly, according to the Book of Genesis, which describes Adam as the first farmer, along with being the first human. Today, scientists believe that the first farmers were located inside the Fertile Crescent region between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
Short Written History
Written records in the world have been around for only about 4,000 to 5,000 years, while man has supposedly been around for 200,000 years, according to evolutionist theory and mainstream science. Why have written records only been around for a few thousand years if man and the earth are supposedly so much older? The evolutionists would say that the ancient man did not develop written records until within the last 10,000 years of history in the evolutionist time frame. But why would written records suddenly appear in history less than 10,000 years ago if humans had been on earth for so much longer?Evolutionists also commonly assign long ages to human artifacts such as tools and pottery, but these ages are questionable with the false assumptions about radiocarbon dating. Creationists believe that radiocarbon dating methods used by evolutionists are inaccurate and overestimate the actual age of human artifacts. The more likely explanation is that humans did not exist before 6,000 years ago and the short time frame of written history after the Flood of Genesis gives great evidence of the creationist model and the young earth.
