Anteater Evolution or Creation?

Biology

The anteater is a long-snouted, four legged furry mammal found in Central and South America in grasslands, woodlands, rain forests, and deciduous forests while four species are known to exist. The size range between these four species can range from the silky anteater that is the size of a squirrel to the giant anteater that extends seven feet long. The anteater is most known for its long, tube-like snout from which has no teeth and from which it swallows ants and termites whole. Other unique features of the anteater are strong forearms that aid in digging, and long, sticky tongues up to two feet long that help capture insects. The anteater tongue itself is an impressive feature that contains spines in the opposite direction in order to help capture ants and insects. This tongue is also covered in very sticky saliva that also helps capture insects. In other words, this tongue was perfectly designed to function as needed to help the anteater capture its meals. The Grand Design of nature is evident.

A unique behavior observed from the anteater is that when it removes ants from an ant mound, it sucks from the top of the mound without destroying the mound. This behavior stops the ants from spreading outward and preserves the remaining ants for a later meal. Anteaters eat ants so quickly that the ants cannot bite the anteater. The anteater sense of smell is very strong, many times stronger than humans and the anteater uses this strong sense of smell to locate food. This strong sense of smell is another feature seen in living things where animals have certain features that are more advanced than humans and therefore points not toward evolution but toward design and the creation model. In contrast, the anteater has poor eyesight. How does the evolutionist explain this wide discrepancy in senses in an animal that is supposedly less evolved than humans? The answer is that each animal species is a unique creation and kind designed by an Intelligent Designer with specific features that are needed for survival. The anteater's strong arms and claws are useful not only in digging for food but also for defense against predators.

Another amazing feature of the giant anteater is that its legs look like a panda kissing the ground. This feature makes the anteater look bigger and helps camouflage itself. Its claws are so sharp that it must walk on its wrist so that it won't cut itself. These claws are so sharp that they have been responsible for the death of humans, although this is very rare. Evolutionists believe that the sloth and the armadillo are the two closest relatives to the anteater. Yet these two animals are very different than the anteater. Evolutionists stubbornly stick to their evolutionist beliefs and deny the evidence for creation. All of these unique features remind us of the Grand Design that God had in mind that He implemented during the Creation Week 6,000 years ago.
