Clouds produce fractal patterns as one piece of a cloud is like a small replica of the larger cloud. The cloud pattern can be reproduced upon magnification at smaller scales toward infinity.
A cloud is a mass of water drops or ice crystals that stay in the air above the surface of the Earth. Clouds form when water condenses in the sky into water droplets after water vapor gas rises from below.
Cumulus (pillow-cotton ball shape), stratus (low-level horizontal layered uniform base), and cirrus (long, thin strips like horse tails or feathers) are the three main types of cloud patterns.
