Crater Fractal Patterns

Science
Craters exhibit fractal patterns on the surface of a planet.
The surface of a crater features many uneven shapes and many smaller cracks and crevices as part of a larger structure.
Smaller impact objects hit the surface after the initial major impact, often creating smaller craters and features inside the large crater.
Simmilar patterns of crater-laden surfaces are repeated at smaller scales approaching infinity.
The entire surface geomorphology of the Earth and other planets can be considered fractal in nature.
Many planetary landforms are also fractal in nature, as the same pattern is repeated at larger and smaller scales approaching infinity.
