The Geography of South America
by Owen Borville
Evidence from nature and history for Creation and the Bible. The towering Andes mountains of western South America were first explored by humans while the Amazon river valley flows eastward toward the Atlantic Ocean. In between the Amazon Basin is the Guiana Highlands to the north and the larger Brazilian Highlands to the southeast. The large Patagonia region covers the southern portion of the continent with river valleys east of the southern Andes mountains. Deserts and salt flats are well known in the Andes mountains.
