Koala Evolution or Creation?

Biology
The koala is a unique animal that has distinct behaviors and features that only an Intelligent Designer could create. Native to eastern Australia, the koala feeds only on Eucalyptus leaves and lives in trees. The koala climbs the trees in order to obtain the leaves and its body is specially designed to live in trees, specifically its strong hands and feet that can claw and grasp tree branches and travel from tree to tree. The koala also sleeps a majority of the day, up to 18 hours during the day. The koala does not drink much water, but the leaves that it eats provides much water. The koala has been incorrectly labeled a "bear," but is actually classified as a marsupial. The diet of the koala that consists primarily of eucalyptus leaves is unique because these leaves are toxic and have low nutritional value. The unique chemistry and biological function of the koala can digest these leaves and somehow provide enough nutrition. The high fiber content of the eucalyptus leaves actually causes the koala to sleep a lot in order to produce enough energy to digest the leaves.
Despite being inactive and slow, koalas can actually run fast on the ground (up to 32 km per hour) and climb a tree relatively fast in order to escape predators. Evolutionists have trouble finding an "ancestor" for this unique animal that gradually evolved all of its features and behaviors. However, the evidence points towards a unique creation designed for its lifestyle. Why would an animal only eat one type of food, a food that is toxic and has low nutritional value? The evidence points toward intelligent design and creation. The evolutionists have trouble even finding an animal that resembles a koala. The most commonly linked animal to koalas by evolutionists is the wombat, an animal that sparsely resembles a koala in appearance and body morphology. Wombats do not live in trees and do not have the specialized claws that koalas have for tree climbing, but commonly live in burrows in the ground. The only similarity would be that both are marsupials and both live in Australia. Therefore, we see that the koala and the wombat are two distinct creations designed by an Intelligent Designer and not the product of millions of years of evolution.
