Biology
The ostrich is a testament to a powerful Creator who designed this animal with what it needed to survive its environment.
The ostrich is the largest bird on earth and has one of the largest eyes of any animal, two inches in diameter, helping it see predators.
Evolutionists have difficulty finding an evolutionary ancestor for the ostrich, which comes from the hot sub-Saharan African plain.
The ostrich can survive up to 40 days without food or drink. Its long neck is also a characteristic feature of the ostrich, making it one of the tallest animals extending up to 9 feet tall and weighing over 250 pounds.
The ostrich also produces the largest egg in the world which boasts an incredibly strong shell.
The ostrich has wings but can't fly. Despite being flightless, the ostrich has the ability to defend itself from its many predators such as lions and cheetahs. Its wings were once thought to be useless (a vestigial feature by evolutionists) but the ostrich uses its wings to scare its enemies by flapping the wings. Its wings can also help it decelerate like brakes as it extends its wings outward. Its wings also help cool the ostrich and are a good insulator therefore keeping it warm at night.
The ostrich can run up to 40 miles per hour which helps its defense from predators.
The ostrich has the most powerful immune system of any animal, which keeps the ostrich from getting sick. This immune system is the topic of current medical research.
The ostrich has a powerful kick such that with one kick could kill a lion. The two toed foot of the ostrich, one toe of which has a large, powerful claw that the ostrich uses to defend itself.
The ostrich is also very strong, as people can sit on top of them and ride while ostriches have been used to pull carts.
