by Owen Borville
September 7, 2019
Bible

The prophets of the Old Testament scriptures of the Bible preached repentance, future kingdoms, the restoration of Israel, and the Coming of Jesus during a time of unfaithfulness of the Israelites where their kingdom under Saul, David, and Solomon was taken away after the kingdom split partially in 732 B.C. by the Assyrians, who took Northern Israel and fully in 586 by the Babylonians, who took Judah and Jerusalem.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Luke 24:27.....And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
