The reptiles types include the: crocodiles-alligators, turtles-tortoises (land, aquatic, marine), snakes (no legs), lizards (four-legs and tail), tuataras (four-legs and tail). Extinct reptiles include dinosaurs and flying reptiles.
Characteristics common to all reptiles include the presence of a vertebrae (backbone), dry, scaled or scute-covered body or shell, cold-blooded body, most reptiles lay offspring in eggs but a few live births, eggs are fertilized internally, lung-breathing. Most reptiles have four legs (except snakes).
Reptiles are believed by evolutionist scientists to have appeared on earth over 300 million years ago, but their fossils resemble modern reptiles, showing strong evidence for a special creation and global flood fossil-preservation event just over four thousand years ago.
