Science
The lungs facilitate respiration (breathing) in animals and humans and feature a complex branching fractal pattern identical to trees.
An image of the branching pattern of the lung resembles an upside-down or inverted tree with many branches.
The branching pattern allows for the respiration process to be extended throughout the body of the animal.
In addition, the branching pattern allows the surface area to be extended much higher than the volume, allowing for better performance in respiration.
The lungs are also symmetrical and have symmetry, as the left and right lungs are like copies of each other. The trachea tube connects the two lung lobes and extends upward toward the mouth.
The respiratory system in animals works to transport fresh air (oxygen) into the body while removing waste gases like carbon dioxide. This process is accomplished with the lungs and other organs and tissues in the body.
In addition to breathing, the respiratory system also helps the sense of smell and in addition provides protection from dust and microbes that enter the body from outside.
The larynx organ of the respiratory system helps produce sound in the form of speaking in humans and other sounds are produced in humans and animals.
The respiratory system also adjusts the temperature and moisture level of inhaled air to be compatible with the body.
Such a complex and well-designed system could only be the product of an Intelligent Designer.
