Spiral galaxies show elements of fractal design.
The spiral pattern itself can be considered a fractal, as the pattern is repeated at multiple scales. Galaxies are the largest known example of spirals in nature.
Spiral galaxies follow the golden spiral, or Fibonacci spiral that follows the Golden Ratio of 1.618 and the spiral increases in size by this ratio for every rotation.
One spiral galaxy can contain up to a trillion stars, showcasing the size of design in nature.
