Squid Evolution or Creation?

The squid is a member of the cephalopod family and like the octopus, the squid has a lenticular or elongated body, large eyes, eight legs and two long tentacles. The squid has a soft body like the octopus but unlike the octopus the squid has a small elongated shaped skeleton. The squid body is symmetrical, with a distinguishable head and a mantle that covers and protects its body. The squid uses its two tentacles to grab its next meal while its eight legs also help in obtaining its prey. The squid is known for its swimming ability and are also known for their intelligence, like the octopus. Another unique feature of the squid is its ability to change its body color as a camouflage that allows them to blend in with their environment. The squid can also eject a fluid from its body that deters predators.
Fossil squid dated over 100 million years ago look strikingly similar to modern squids, making the squid a living fossil and questioning the evolution process. While most squid are about two feet long, the size can increase up to up to 43 feet long for the giant squid and less than an inch for the smallest variety. The characteristics of the squid show clear evidence for unique design and not random evolution over millions of years. One evolutionist has argued that the cephalopod eye is more advanced than the vertebrate eye and that this implies that vertebrates (including humans) are not as advanced as the cephalopod. The evolutionist implies that the vertebrates and humans are not God's highest creation. However, this reasoning is based on evolutionist views. The creationist view is that each creation is unique and some living things have more complex parts than other living things. Most are aware that dogs and bears have a much stronger and more complex sense of smell than humans. Does this mean that dogs and bears are more evolved than humans? No. Only when one erroneously assumes that there is an evolutionary tree or line there is an issue.
When one considers that each living species or kind is a unique creation and each living kind has certain unique features that were designed by an Intelligent Designer, the observations that we see in nature are understood. Humans are the only living things that can have a relationship with God and those who believe and understand the creation model can see this. Evolutionists also fail to acknowledge the cursed Earth and universe as a result of human sin, including the Global Flood. The current Earth and universe is not as perfect as the original version designed and created during Creation Week 6,000 years ago. God gives all of his creation what they need to survive and live in this world. If God takes care of the animals, He will certainly take care of us if we believe in Him. A large part of believing in Him is believing that He designed and created the universe. If we can't even accept that God designed and created the universe and all life, in opposition to gradual random chance evolution, how can we believe anything else of God and have a relationship with Him? The evidence is all around us. The evolutionists, atheists, and the skeptics are so blind and stubborn that the evidence is right in front of their eyes. Design and creation does not take millions of years. Only one can create life and if life cannot be created instantaneously, it cannot be created at all. When man begins to believe that they are smarter than God and deny His authority over creation, they have fallen in error and they cannot have a relationship with God.
